Craft Whiskey Distillery in Oakhurst, California – Gateway to Yosemite

“It’s not about drinking … it’s about the experience of savoring the subtle flavors created in small-batch craft distilling. It’s about learning how this ancient craft uses locally sourced ingredients and returns waste products back to local farms.”

Glass of Whiskey against black backgroundOakhurst Spirits is the popular destination distillery in Oakhurst, California – just 20 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite Naitonal Park. We offer free tours of the distillery, as well as whiskey tastings comprising of six of our craft products, served in 1/4 oz pours.

Distilleries have a symbiotic relationship with local wineries and breweries, as wines can be distilled into brandy, and beers can be distilled into whiskey, and barrels can be used interchangeably to enhance the flavors of any of the three products. The distilling process is quiet and the slight aromas (like baking bread) remain inside the distillery.

Our 1000 square foot Art Gallery and Gift Shop offers tasting glasses, t-shirts, hats, etc. bearing the Oakhurst Spirits logo, along with fine art created by local and internationally known artists.
